Hey! My name is Sophie, I am the very proud owner of Sophire.

I'm 22 and I am a university graduate of business management, which I studied in the hope of one day running my own business!

My love of wax melts began when my best friend first brought me a gift set for my birthday, I’d never heard of wax melts before, and I thought they were a brilliant idea. I had always wanted to start my own business, maybe this would be the perfect product. So like many others, I used the lockdown period as a chance to really get creative, experimenting with different shapes, scents, and wax blends until I found my favourite combinations. As lockdown was a time of really trying new things I decided to embrace this and begin posting my unique creations on Instagram and Facebook to see what other people thought. I got some amazing feedback during this time, which led me to develop my hobby into a business and take over the family kitchen!

I am working hard on my mission to provide more eco-friendly solutions to candle/wax melt products. I invest more money in higher quality, natural, and eco-friendly products so that we can all feel good about what we're burning in our homes. I want to keep pushing in all areas of my business to make it as eco-friendly as I possibly can. I am also extremely passionate about sustainability and I have big plans for the future of Sophire that will help me align my values and make a big impact in this area. It is also my dream that one day I will be able to return my parents’ help and give them jobs they will be proud of!
